~$ dpkg -S /etc/init/rc.conf upstart: /etc/init/rc.conf While rc.conf has nothing to do with shutting down virtual machines, it does have the consequence of running the sendsigs script in parallel with the upstart scripting. I'm not sure that is the right way to proceed.
