Colin: Synchronising the system time does not cause time zone
difficulties. I use manual time to work around a bug in
Evolution/Thunderbird/etc. And the purpose of my previous post was to
give an example of "why manual time should be preferred for any case
other than a complete lack of internet connectivity", because the
previous poster suggested that time synchronisation is strictly better
than manual time.
