Public bug reported: Binary package hint: tomcat6
/etc/cron.daily/tomcat6 comes with the tomcat package and deletes all war files' log files after 14 days. i would argue that nothing should be deleted without explicit permission of the user - this is especially since there is nothing in logrotate for tomcat and yet there's a lone script in cron.daily that deletes logs. lost some valuable data because of this :( ** Affects: tomcat6 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: cron logging -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to tomcat6 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/741589 Title: tomcat cron deletes app log files after 14 days -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
