This problem seems to be related to bug #766519. From the dmesg.txt log it seems you have an Intel I5-2400 CPU with AVX extensions. There is a fix for this problem in clamav 0.97.2, which is currently in the clamav PPA. Please enable this PPA and check if the problems gets resolved. 0.97.2 will arrive to Lucid in a short while.
