I am trying to install slapd on a fresh Ubuntu server. Package
configuration asks me to enter an "Administrator password" and then
again to confirm. Next screen tells me my entered configuration is
invalid:

"The configuration you entered is invalid. Make sure that the DNS domain
name is syntactically valid, the field for the organization is not left
empty and the admin passwords match. If you decide not to retry the
configuration the LDAP server will not be set up. Run 'dpkg-reconfigure
slapd'"

But "sudo dpkg-reconfigure slapd" gives:
/usr/sbin/dpkg-reconfigure: slapd is broken or not fully installed

$ uname -a

Here the full output of the installation:

$ sudo aptitude install slapd
