It`s just imposible, it`s not working. And the internet is full with other people asking the same thing. I have 6 computers, using the same class of ip 192.168.1.XXX 3 are windows 7 and 2 windows XP. ALL of them don`t have a password and all of them don`t require one. Hell, all of them i can edit, write, all i want, becaouse they are inside my network. But Ubuntu does not care that i made it the most simple of simplest way of simplest simplest ways of entering. you have the IP, you just search for computers and connect to them. How hard can it be ? It looks like imposible hard. I want to be able too keep promoting Ubuntu to my friends, but i can ncannot do a basic stuff, like accesing a share, i am not able too do this. And the internet it`s full with 320948739 variants of how to fix this, all in a different way. STOP IT. I don`t want to be a geek anymore, i want just too use a operating system, not learn 500 pages for every problem that i have. ** Affects: samba (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bot-comment -- Samba not working in Nautilus https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/994992 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to samba in Ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
