My issue is that debugging is made harder - errors can be highly non- obvious because the default shell behavior is to pass the FDs through, and they could have been inserted many processes upstream depending on where you're calling the program from.
If you decide to release a fix for this in Precise, now would be the time while it's fresh and adoption is low. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to lxc in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1003583 Title: make the "--close-all-fds" option in lxc-start on by default To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxc/+bug/1003583/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
