Thanks. This is due to a bug in the lxc-net upstart script which makes it fail to start under bash. This doesn't cause a problem ordinarily, but because you have /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash, lxc-net failed to start. This bug has been fixed in quantal, and the fix is being backported to precise, but is still going through the verification process. See bug 1000174 for more information. ** This bug is no longer a duplicate of bug 928524 lxcbr0 fails to come up when dnsmasq is installed ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 1000174 lxc-net fails to start with bash -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to lxc in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1005992 Title: package lxc 0.7.5-3ubuntu56 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxc/+bug/1005992/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
