Hi smacintyre, Thank you very much for submitting this bug report.
Looks like for some reason the package php5-common wasn't installed or it's not showing on your "PHPInstalledModules.txt" file. If you don't mind I'd need you to check that the package is installed, it is a dependency for libapache2-mod-php5 and the error it's giving means that this package wasn't installed before trying to install libapache2-mod-php5. Can you try to run "apt-get -f install" and see what does it say? If the error persists could you please provide the full apt-get log and mark the bug again as "New" so it can be reviewed. Thank you very much for your time! ** Changed in: php5 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to php5 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1014673 Title: package libapache2-mod-php5 5.3.10-1ubuntu3.1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 Installed Apache2, mysql-server, php5 and phpmyadmin.
