Hi, the ubuntu server guide (https://help.ubuntu.com/12.04/serverguide/lxc.html) serves as a general howto for using lxc containers. If anyone would like to write a specific 'Transitioning from OpenVZ' section, that would be welcome and greatly appreciated.
