Thank you for reporting this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.

On a fresh install of munin on both Precise and Raring, /etc/munin
/plugin-conf.d/munin-node already contains "user munin" under
[munin_stats]. Here are the equivalent URLs from VCS in bzr:

http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-branches/ubuntu/precise/munin/precise/view/head:/debian/plugins.conf
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-branches/ubuntu/raring/munin/raring/view/head:/debian/plugins.conf

Please could you clarify what you are saying should be changed, exactly?
On a fresh installation, exactly what is wrong? Or is this an upgrade
issue, or an issue specific to your system?

Once you have clarified, please change the bug status back to New.

** Changed in: munin (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Incomplete
