I entered

    sudo apt-get install apache2 php5 libapache2-mod-php5 mysql-server

into a teminal window and the following output shows the problem:

I have been trying for a number of days to install mySQL and associated
files to run a website from my PC to no avail. Everything else works
well, but this problem  keeps rearing its head.
