Thanks for reporting this bug. The rsyslog failure however is a bug in qemu-arm-static rather than in lxc.
Note that while the rsyslog respawns are filling up your console, the container should still be running. You should be able to log in on console (I can), and you can also start the container in the background and attach to a different console to avoid the messages. Lastly, you can change /etc/init/rsyslog.conf to add 'manual' on a line by itself to prevent rsyslog from starting. ** Package changed: lxc (Ubuntu) => qemu (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: qemu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: qemu (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to lxc in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1212823 Title: saucy armhf container does not start To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu/+bug/1212823/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
