Check with dpkg -l which are presents and apt-get remove them. You may have to remove restricted modules. The commands sequence should look like this:
$ apt-get install linux-image-server Reboot on the server image (be carrefull, Desktop kernel entries are first in the grub menu) $ dpkg -l linux-image* And then, remove non server kernels: $ apt-get remove --purge linux-image[complete with dpkg -l informations] restricted-modules[complete with dpkg -l informations] Regards, Lionel -- ubuntu-server mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server
