The fact that it's just:
 This package holds the common files for the NTP server and all programs
 which need to run on the actual server.

I'm sure that was just a typo for ntp-simple though. It does however
opens a port and needs to be yet another always open program. For just
syncing to a server I rather have a fork every half hour or so.
