In your postconf -n you have: postconf -n alias_database = hash:/etc/aliases alias_maps = hash:/etc/aliases command_directory = /usr/sbin config_directory = /etc/postfix content_filter = amavis:[127.0.0.1]:10024 You are sending your mail to amavis which doesnt exists in you master.cf I can't send/recieve email and recently installed Kubuntu on my box. I added spamassasin, clamav and amavis, as advised here. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/PostfixAmavisNew ( I am also using dbmail.) I have no problem starting those services and it seem postfix can't find the amavis transport.
