Hello Moretti.

I am assuming you are using Ubuntu 12.04.

There has been a change in the way the system creates the resolv.conf file.
If you have a static network configuration, you need to put your DNS
Servers configuration in the /etc/network/interfaces file with the
following entries:

        dns-nameservers x.x.x.x
        dns-nameservers x.x.x.x

On restart, the system will automatically populate the contents of the
resolv.conf file with the entries in the interfaces file.
