Hi, it would probably help if you could say a bit more about your interests and experience. Do you have coding experience, what language? Admin experience? Debian packaging? What would you like to work on?
For the most part, hanging out on freenode#ubuntu-server and freenode#ubuntu-devel and joining the weekly irc server team meeting should give you an idea of things to work on. In the past when at least I have tried to do more direct "mentoring" it hasn't worked out well :) self-guided works well, so long as you feel free to ask questions when you have them. (almost) everyone will be more than happy to help on #ubuntu-server when you have questions. Before you know it you might be the new resident expert on ldap packaging and configuration :) Good luck, hope to see you around! -serge Quoting Alex Beliy ([email protected]): > Hey Server team, > > My name is Alex.
