That assumes that RHEL and Ubuntu Server are targeted at exactly the same set of customers. That's certainly possible, but you'd have to talk to people from both RH and Canonical to determine whether it's true or not. (They may regard it as confidential and not want to to discuss it though.)


I'm not involved in the development of Ubuntu Server but I'm sure that
those who are would find your enquiry more useful if you answered the
following two questions:

What are the advantages of 32-bit over 64-bit?

It runs on 32-bit processors.


What are the disadvantages of 64-bit over 32-bit?

Requires extra libraries to run 32-bit software, and it may be less efficient in use of RAM in some cases.
