Found 12 bugs, only one worth mentioning here: LP: #1909950 - *(New) [bind9] - TCP connections never close
This was already brought up by Christian. The user reports the bug is not present in Debian and in the upstream bind9 source he compiled, but didn't specify the versions he tested. Once known I think we'll need to setup working/nonworking reproducers and bisect the bug.
