Yep, the reporter replied and seem to be interested in and technically
capable of driving the SRU, and are already part way there.  They've
been involved with a successful tmux sru previously too.

Agreed, Christian's reply is well thought out and 100% correct.

The purpose of publishing these benchmarking results is to drive
eyeballs to the website.  If improving Linux was the aim, we'd have a
history of actions taken to analyze major discrepancies with bug report
references and so on.

Given that Apache2 development is pretty much just bugfixing these
years, one wouldn't expect any wild changes of performance such as shown
in the test results published.  But since so many things are varied from
one distro to another, this is a very apples-to-oranges comparison.

If anyone does have some more info into what is causing the apache2
performance differences, though, I'd be interested in reading.
