-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I noticed there was a request for mirrors of the cd images of Ubuntu Studio.
I could set it up on some loadbalanced sites with a total of 300Mbit (3x100Mbit) in geographically diverse location within Sweden. Just drop me the rsync-line (or svn) and i'll set it up. It will be syncing with the main server every third hour. IP for my master-server (which is going to be syncing from upstream) is: 217.118.215.179 For now, I used wget to download it from cdimage.ubuntu.com. URL for my mirror is http://ftp.endpoint.nu/pub/software/ubuntustudio/ (ftp:// is turned off) The loadbalancing depends on 302 Redirect, so some tools won't work (apt-get for instance). Is there any other situation where the images are directly downloaded by a script or program that doesn't obey 302 Redirect? Live statistics is available at: http://services.yi.se/redirect/ If there is anything I'm not fully understanding or something I should know about hosting a mirror, please let me know. Cheers folks! // Erik Söderström (Endpoint admin, Yi Systems admin) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFH/UMVTnISAlwZdKURAikaAJ0bcuoj+rHrpPW0sAyDwV5DWALd0gCfTVAa CXGHKqtZdWVIg8qoZ4+igI4= =pArI -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- Ubuntu-Studio-devel mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-studio-devel
