Ok, something I did in here is wrong. dmesg gives this (well lots more too):

 Kernel command line: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-3.2.0-2-generic roo
t=UUID=f1417b7e-0f29-499d-862d-bdc164b8d9a6 ro quiet splash vt.handoff=7

Is there something I need to do to get grub-install to reread the file I
changed? Or am I using the wrong command?
