Not a problem. Perhaps fresh eyes on this would help. The problem seems to be a package ubuntu ships with (ubuntustudio is ubuntu) called xul-ext-ubufox that sets the ubuntu repos as the place to look for missing plugins and sets some ubuntu sites in the bookmarks. With this unloaded, I think I would be able to set bookmarks up... but we would loose the other things that package brings. Aside from this, I do not think even the firefox package is free of ubuntu patches... Perhaps we could create our own US-ubufox package that would replace that one too. I am no long sure which way to turn on this. However, Scott also suggested having menu icons that open US sites so that is why I suggested that would be possible. I am running out of free time to work on it though. So someone else will have to figure it out. I will still be around though, so if someone figures it out and can pass me the info, I'll try it. The menu icons may be a good idea even if we do fix the bookmarks. The menu icons I can do relatively quick as there is no research involved. But researching firefox stuff has already taken hours I don't have. -- Len Ovens www.OvenWerks.net -- Ubuntu-Studio-devel mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-studio-devel
