any and all testing is greatly appreciated, but actually, there are test cases that *must* be done in order for our iso's to be allowed to be released. these test cases are outlined here...
http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/230/builds/21416/testcases it can be challenging to drill down and see what is what... one can quickly scan http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/230/builds and see what mandatory tests are done and who needs help. ours are done looks like for 12.04.1 but it looks like theres a few xubuntu tests that would be nice to help out with. i would *always* come on the IRC and ask and make sure you are testing the proper latest iso's... it would be a shame to waste time downloading and testing iso's that have been replaced.. thanks again!
