This should have been mentioned before, but because "we" hadn't done anything to fix it, no one thought to look for it.
in the 12.04 ISO when installing there is a slide show and often scroll bars would show up on the slide show even though they should not. In my own testing of 12.10 (Quantal) ISOs I have noticed that they seem to have gone away. Perhaps something has been fixed upstream. So anyone testing 12.10 ISOs, please report if you do or not see scroll bars.
