That's a good choice. I prefer Qtractor over Ardour, but Qtractor has got its limitations, so some times I need use Ardour. I prefer Rakarrack, but I guess I'm an exotic species, guitarix seems to be more often used, at least by the crowd who don't own analog gear and who think they could fake analog gear using guitarix. IOW for my taste you should at least include Qtractor and Guitarix. Regarding to the fine Debian policy Ubuntu Studio doesn't provide Linuxsampler, resp. a backend, that's embarrassing and a good reason not to use Ubuntu Studio. IOW what sample GUI would you like to add to your slide show? Since you can't add Qsampler, at least add Qsynth. I dislike LMMS and wouldn't include it, useless amateur crap, not good to make good music.
