I kind of thought so too.... until someone walked in with their shiny new windows box with a USB 2.0 that would not work cause he didn't have the driver disk... I was able to get the session recorded with his audio device on Ardour in my old 32bit whatever this thing is that I was given as being to old to use. Good to have a backup.
