my favourite is Pure Data, you can do audio and video with it, it is just a
bit complicated to start with :( but you can build your own stuff there. it
is simmilar to Max/Msp : puredata.info

there is also http://freewheeling.sourceforge.net/ but i did not use it yet.

basically u can run every linux program in UStudio, just check
http://linuxaudio.org/
the main idea behind linux audio is huge modular system where all apps can
communicate with each other, so you HAVE TO be creative and you HAVE TO
build your own audio system.... that means... no millions of presets that
you can find  with commercial apps.
