So, what about this thread http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=590487 i.e., is anyone else having trouble getting the UbuntuStudio .iso file onto a DVD because burning software insists upon a CD?
If so, I found that in K3B, it helps to go through the Welcome screen where "New Data DVD Project," "New Audio CD Project," etc. are offered in big rectangular buttons. Specifically, right-clicking on the .iso file's icon and Opening With causes K3B to insist on blank CD media, where if I use the Welcome screen button to choose to burn a DVD image, it insists on blank DVD media. [indirectly related: I just wish it weren't, as I assume it must be, absolutely necessary to make the UbuntuStudio image too big to fit on a CD. It's a problem for me only because my machine still suffers from http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=447912 (please, if anyone can help me solve that, I'll be very grateful), but the above blank media problem might never have come up.] -- Ubuntu-Studio-users mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-studio-users
