Hello! I have jast succefully installed und startet VirtualBox on my UbuntuStudio.
This is the Instruction: http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?t=2426&highlight=realtime "Well, went back to googling and followed a suggestion to use the binary package from the virtualbox site. My fix was: - Use synaptic to uninstall Virtualbox OSE packages from the Ubuntu Repos. - Download and install the Gutsy Deb. (Personal + Eval binary, NOT OSE)." My comment: Then you must 1. add you [and root] to "vboxusers", 2. Automatically load the kernel module: |sudo gedit /etc/modules| Then add: |vboxdrv| Regards, Vadim Hesse Andrew Hunter schrieb: > [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > >> Does this mean that it isn't possible to use VirtualBox within Ubuntu >> Studio using the realtime kernel? >> > > No, it just means you have to compile it yourself. :) > > >> ~cole >> >> On 11/14/07, *Cory K.* < [EMAIL PROTECTED] >> <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>> wrote: >> >> The -rt kernel will not be providing modules like this.
