Michael McIntyre Thanks Michael I believe the biggest obstacle to OS and to Linux is the learning curve. Here we have one of the finest information systems available, growing at an exponential rate and we are somehow failing to deploy the state of the communication art to assist the user to come up to speed more easily. An informatics project? It certainly could be. The quick answer is, "Google it," works well for the one that already has some orientation and has geekish tendencies but for the one fresh in from "MS land" the info-shock hits them square in the face. Overload. Tilt! I am hoping an information specialist is picking up on this.
Off the soap box. Here is a nice tutorial for Rosegarden. Just how concurrent it is to the versions in the 7.10 repository, I do not know. For a quick overview I would suggest a read of section 1 and then jump down to section 4. Too bad the diagrams do not include the possible hosting by jackand other potential clients.
