Like base+ubuntustudio-audio? It has been suggested and will not be done. Doing a audio-only distro isn't what we set out to do and there were many other projects doing it when we started. Most now throw much more on their disks and even moved to DVDs. Yes. I'm not sure what it does also but I think we filed a bug on this because a team member felt it was important.
