FYI - Roland midi drums works with Hydrogen, between laptop and midi-drums I used midi/usb cable: Edirol UM-1ex.
Never mind xruns on that screenshots - some unknown hardware reason to me rt-kernel (Gutsy) do no boot on that laptop. We also run out of pattern size (Hydrogen recorded over old ones) and we did not used quantize. We did record with quantize and that worked, too.
