We're pissed. It's a > misrepresentation. I have written about 3 4-6 page articles on Ubuntu Studio. One in comparison with Suse/JAD, one on Ubuntustudio itself and a tutorial, how to turn a standard Ubuntu into a DAW using the US-packages. Did this for a german computer-mag called Linux Intern, so I did not bother to mention it since the mag is in german only... I used screenshots from the standard Ubuntustudio 8.04 with the theme in one case and screenshots from my customized US-enhanced Xubuntu and even some with KDE in the other articles. Of course Ardour, the overall software-inclusions and the rt-thing played a central role in the articles and I guess, I presented your work in a fair and overall positive manner. So I guess, the theme might be important for you and for some other users also but the main benefit for the users out there is the perfect integration of the rt-capabilities and the apps in the Ubuntu repos - regardless if one likes KDE (like me today) or XFCE (like me also on some machines) or GNOME or Fluxbox or whatever - your work enables all those Ubuntu-users to make music with their computers and this is what counts. best regs HZN -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFIyuyq1Aecwva1SWMRArC7AJ483UNcJsEkCX/o3K+2d2a4XuXGHQCdGRKe NNW1W+Yuns0UloySv+w7JVM= =L33d -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- Ubuntu-Studio-users mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-studio-users
