Hi Cory, Thanks much! I (after I sent the last email to the US list) did look in my Synaptic Package Manager... & I found this when I did a search for -rt kernel metapackage:
"You likely do not want to install this package directly. Instead, install the linux-rt meta-package, which will ensure that upgrades work correctly, and that supporting packages are also installed."
