Hi Arwin, You don't need to reinstall or recover your machine even if you missed to install some meta packages in instaling! It's enough to install 'ubuntustudio-graphics' meta packages via synaptic or some commands in terminal.
In ubuntustudio-graphics, you can automatically install these packages below, gimp and some plugins inkscape blender f-spot agave fontforge xsane wacom-tools etc... In synaptic, you can see this list related to "ubuntustudio-graphics" metapackage. Plesase check Community Ubuntu Documentation. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SynapticHowto because I can give you some guides just in Japanese... If you need other metapackages, install below, ubuntustudio-audio ubuntustudio-audio-plugins ubuntustudio-controls ubuntustudio-video etc. Regards Takashi Sakamoto [email protected] > Date: Mon, 16 Nov 2009 21:53:43 +0800 > From: mr arwin <[email protected]> > Subject: First Time Installing Ubuntu Studio > To: [email protected] > Message-ID: > <[email protected]> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 > > Hello everyone.
