Hi :)

I'm still unable to add 3D support for my graphics, when booting a
kernel-rt. FWIW, I wrote a script that automatically will build a kernel
RT, if you're running kernel 2.6.35-25-generic you only need to push
enter for every question. Note that I didn't tested the kernel until
now.

Regarding to the RT-NVIDIA-issue I wrote a script that will add a
xorg.conf for the nv driver on startup for kernel-rt and another
xorg.conf with the proprietary nvidia driver
(http://www.webupd8.org/2010/06/how-to-install-nvidia-25635-display.html) for
any other kernel.

edubuntu@edubuntu:~$ ls /etc/rcS.d -hAl
insgesamt 8,0K
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 447 2009-09-07 20:58 README
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root  21 2011-01-04 22:25 S13pcmciautils
-> ../init.d/pcmciautils
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root  16 2011-01-04 22:25 S25brltty
-> ../init.d/brltty
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root  18 2011-01-04 22:25 S37apparmor
-> ../init.d/apparmor
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root  20 2011-01-04 22:25 S47lm-sensors
-> ../init.d/lm-sensors
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root  17 2011-01-04 22:25 S55urandom
-> ../init.d/urandom
-rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 243 2011-02-05 08:51 S69switch_xorg.conf
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root  20 2011-01-04 22:25 S70x11-common
-> ../init.d/x11-common

Was anybody able to solve this issue with latest kernel-rts?

Cheers!

Ralf

PS: Oops, the line exit 0 for the xorg script might be useless ;).
