What's the most user and system friendly way to get PulseAudio working while QJackctl server is running? I've seen some suggestions online, but I would imagine that there's probably a 'best practices' approach for 2012 and Precise 12.04
Basically, I'd want to run Banshee and jam along with it on my MIDI controller, or take calls on Skype if I had to. Maybe even capture audio from firefox plugins across the bus... something to tie it all together... I have a number of kxstudio repos installed, but maybe not the right one as Cadence doesn't show up in the Software Centre. Apparently Cadence will create such a bridge but unsure if Cadence is the best way to go. I've built Ubuntu Studio into my regular Unity-based installation and things are otherwise going well so far. Thanks for any help you can provide... oh also I'm running a2jmidid as a JACK startup script (the ALSA to JACk bridge) so I'd need to know of any potential conflicts with that.
