Do you know if Ubuntu optimises for SSE2 by default?


Just wondering what would happen, I installed US on an IBM A-30 laptop with a 933 Mhz CPU, 256 MB RAM. It actually ran Phasex and Calf simultaneously. I didn't try using Ardour or Audacity though.
