I've noticed that there's been a couple recent updates to the low-latency kernel, and I was wondering (since why not avoid the step of bringing up the GRUB screen?) if it would be safe to uninstall the vanilla kernel and header and other associated packages.
Presently my desktop and laptop are running 3.2.0.35-lowlatency and I'd like them to be on a strict lowlatency upgrade path, but don't want to pull something out in synaptic that's vital, so it would be nice if someone with expertise on this matter could advise? I use a wide variety of applications on both machines. Thanks; -- -____ Todd Howe ____________________ [email protected] ____- -____ gpg public key id E8BCABA7__tehowe on skype or twitter ____-
