It's recommended you do not do testing on your production environment, so
if you're worried, please make a new install.
irc.freenode.net is a irc network, where you can find lots of ubuntu
related channels, such as the two Ubuntu Studio channels
#ubuntustudio-user and #ubuntustudio-devel, where the developers like to
hang out.
