you have the latest normal release of ubuntustudio, which *is* and follows
the same as main ubuntu with versions.. 13.04 is the latest.. the 13
referring to 2013 and the .04 referring to april.. in april of 2012, ubuntu
and ubuntustudio (and others) released 12.04 LTS.. the LTS being a long
term support release.. this 12.04.03 is an example of that long term
support.. if you had installed 12.04 in april of 2012 when it came out, and
upgraded it regularly, you would now have it automatically upgraded to
12.04.03.. the iso that is announced is basically a cumulative update to
the iso for the LTS release, so that if one downloaded and installed ubuntu
12.04, there would not be 2 years of updated to download and install.. the
version you are running, 13.04 is not an LTS and will be supported for 9
months.. please see..
