I am trying to use apogee duet audio interface in ubuntu studio 13.04. Jack recognizes device, but will not power mics. tried phantom as well as standard dynamic mics, but no signal sent to ardour. Even tried running audacity without jack and same thing. software recognizes duet but no signal. tried doing search and found that there was no driver support from apogee, but the page was 3 years old. anything changed since then?
