I use a RME UCX interface. I does "work with Linux", meaning recent
versions of ALSA, but has nowadays no official support from RME.
You would only get advice from the user's forum, but no specific driver
nor acess to code.
The good thing is, it has a USB-compliant mode, which needs only a
generic USB driver with Linuxes and then is plug-and-play.
However, the specific software is not working in that case : totalmix
(mixer software with effects etc.) and hardware-settings soft.
Anyway, it's a good sound device, as far as quality is concerned.

Jean HUBER

which lexicon do u use?
lexicon omega is plug and play here.. though, i prefer my presonus
firepod. i purchased both of these before i was using linux. now, i
would just save the $$ up and get something from RME.
