Hi, you could do a little bit of homework on your own and next time at least mention what version of software you are using.
By a package search you would get the information about all hard and all optional dependencies. Optional dependencies are called "recommends", "suggests". http://packages.ubuntu.com/vivid/dolphin The manual page for apt will explain you how to automatically install all dependencies. "--install-suggests", recommends are installed by default. http://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/utopic/en/man8/apt-get.8.html But first off all, take a look at the Ubuntu and/or at the KDE bugtracker/s, perhaps there's an open ticket such as this one https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=345174 .
