I agree with this, but i think any computer with any OS will require you to pay with your time, and any OS come with a fairly steep learning curve. It depends on your personal interest _in_ and previous experience _with_ computers really. But the basics are very similar from OS to OS. Hence i find this recurrent argument of GNU/linux being more time consuming then other OS to be slightly unfair. Because computing is not easy. Any brand saying it is easy, is probably hiding many possibilities from their users or just assuming things about their users actual interest in completing tasks.
