If you add third party repositories you risk issues caused by dependencies. You still could install all the packages available by the official repositories, but you might explicitly mention what package version you want, assumed a third party repository provides the same package, but by a more recent version. Regarding dependencies required by a third party package, you might need to remove dependencies of such a package from the third party repository, otherwise you might be unable to install even a completely other package from official repositories, that requires the same dependencies, but with different versions.
