You aren't using Wayland?

There's no output mentioning HDMI2?
What's the output of

  xrandr --verbose | grep -i hdmi

?

Did you test different HDMI cables? Are the HDMI sockets clean?

Do you have anything monitor related
in /etc/X11/xorg.conf or /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/?

For example

$ head -6 /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Section "Monitor"
    Identifier  "HDMI2"
    DisplaySize  526 296
    Option      "PreferredMode" "1920x1080"
    Option      "Primary" "true"
EndSection

Did you test the FLOSS driver?
