I've tested on my phone. It works quite well. Only issue I got is if the stopwatch is not running then you can't use the area below the stopwatch face to swipe back to the clock. The problem seems to be "preventStealing: true" in this MouseArea component (line 130): http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-clock-dev/ubuntu-clock-app/trunk/view/head:/app/stopwatch/StopwatchPage.qml#L130 To be honest I don't even know why the MouseArea is there.
